It is not “MY DAY,” it is EVERYONE’S DAY
Wear something you
NEVER GET TO wear
We all have something in our closet we RARELY get to wear. Perhaps its because that is formally worn at a specific place or only at a specific time. We invite you to bring those amazing pieces out and share them with us at our wedding. Even if this garment is your former wedding dress, your graduation gown (you only got that ONE DAMN walk), or something “out of fashion.‘
Wear something you
feel FABULOUS IN
Usually, weddings have this unspoken rule of dressing “respectfully” so that no one upstages the bride — because it is HER day — but we want to, we invite you to, we DARE you to. Be ostentatious, be crazy, come in DRAG if you like, or wear the most gorgeous thing you own. We want EVERYONE to feel amazing, have fun, + wear something they boogie in as soon as they see themselves in the mirror.
The ONLY RULE is don’t
wear anything drab
They say ‘dress for the job you want,” so we say let’s dress for the an amazingly, muthah-flippin,’ fantastic evening — because it has been scientifically proven that your fashion can improve your mood + your overall mental health. So, drab, ho-hum, normal-to-day street or lounge wear need not apply. Not today. Because 10•10•2020 is going to an EXTRAVAGANZA OF DRESS TO IMPRESS-IONS!
