You could easily spend a ton of time exploring the state! I organized these by the order that would make a more timely (and sequential) sense and then broke them up into a 4 day NORTHERN PATH (towards Vegas) or a 4 day SOUTHERN PATH (towards Mexico).
SEDONA, AZ
2 hr drive from Tempe | Take Loop 202 to I-17 N — Take I-17 N to AZ-179 and AZ-89A and follow signs to Sedona
GRAND CANYON | Southern Rim
4.5 hr drive from Tempe | Take Loop 202 to I-17 N towards Flagstaff. At the I-40 Interchange, go west toward Williams, AZ.
